Photo Retouching – Extending Image

The was for a backlit window graphic that was to be displayed in a museum window.

We wanted as much of the original image as possible, so cropping it to fit this long vertical dimension would have left us with a portion of the train station.

I used sections of the field and the sky to extend the image vertically to fit he final dimensions, even duplicating and extending the defects in the sky.
